Tom is a partner at Sullivan Festeryga LLP with a wide range of litigation experience and has represented insurers at all levels of Court in Ontario. His years of experience have provided him with a profound understanding of the issues faced by insurers. As a partner in the firm’s Insurance Litigation group, his practice focuses on insurance defence, primarily in the fields of bodily injury, property damage, tavern liability, sports and recreation liability, occupiers’ liability, and professional negligence. He has represented clients at numerous discoveries, motions, pre-trial conferences, mediations and trials.

Before becoming a lawyer, Tom had an extensive career as a professional athlete competing in the sport of waterskiing. He has represented Canada at international competitions as well as competed on the Professional Waterski Tour throughout North American. In addition to setting National water ski records he also attended the University of Louisiana on a full athletic scholarship leading the water ski team to 3 NCWA National Team Championships. Tom understands that to be successful both personally and professionally it takes drive, passion and dedication; qualities that he displays when advocating on behalf of his clients.
